ERC9448 is a blanking or sealing plug used in the engine assembly of Land Rover Defender models, designed to seal oil, coolant, or block passages within the 2.25 Petrol, 2.5 Naturally Aspirated Diesel, and 2.5 Turbo Diesel engines. These plugs prevent fluid ingress or leakage at unused ports or machined galleries within the block.
