ERR4686 is a plastic radiator drain plug designed to seal the drain port on the plastic-tank radiator fitted to Tdi-engined Land Rovers up to chassis number TA976035. It prevents c oolant loss from the lower radiator section and must form a reliable seal to maintain correct system pressure and operating temperature. A missing, cracked, or cross-threaded plug will result in coolant leakage and risk of engine overheating.
