An attractive Japanese-style plum, Alderman Plum grows to a height of 15 to 20 feet, serving as a fantastic anchor in the landscape. In spring, sweet-scented white blooms appear in profusion on this nicely-branched tree. Later, large, dark red, sweet and juicy clingstone fruit ripens in the mid-summer, with golden, sweet flesh perfect for snacking. This tree can typically bear one year after planting.
