Plumen is the world's first designer energy saving light bulb. It uses 80% less energy than a traditional bulb, therefore keeping electricity bills down and is better for the envir onment. It lasts around 8 times longer than an average non energy saving bulb. Available in both bayonet and screw fittings. Plumen was awarded the Brit Insurance Design of the Year in 2011. The bulbs are available in two sizes, the standard original Plumen bulb and the baby Plumen - the baby Plumen offers a more compact shape which may be more suited to smaller shades. The baby Plumen shines less bright (but enough!) due to its size. 9 watts, equivalent to a 40 watt bulb, while the standard Plumen is 11 watt, equivalent to 56 watts.
