The Plus Floating Shelf leads with its bracket — a plus-shaped wall mount in four powder-coated finishes that gives a single shelf real presence. Sized to sit beside a bed, a readi ng chair, or an entryway console, it’s milled from 1-1/4" thick solid maple or rift-sawn white oak: substantial enough to hold weight, refined enough to read as a considered object. The bracket is also available separately for anyone using their own shelf material — wood, stone, or otherwise. Installation requires only basic tools. Prices include shipping within the continental US. Designed by Brooklyn-based Steven Gertner, who brings his grandparents’ hardware shop background together with training from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
