Heavy Duty 7/8" Heim Steering Kit Heavy-duty steering upgrade with easier adjustment and stronger tubing This DIY 7/8" Heim Steering Kit delivers strength, adjustability, and durability for off-road rigs. Designed for use with stock steering positions or high steer arms (requires 3/4" bore in arms or knuckles), it uses hex head weld bungs so you can adjust with a crescent wrench instead of a pipe wrench—saving your tubing and paint from damage. Built with 1.5" x .250" wall DOM tubing and heat-treated chromoly heims, this setup is a major upgrade from stock. Requires welding by a competent person with proper equipment. Check steering clearance at full lock before cutting to length—bends may be needed to clear diff covers or sway bar mounts. Extra DOM is included to allow for cutting errors—cutting is easy, growing tube back is not. 3/4" bolts not included; length will vary based on arm thickness.
