The 2001 'C' Army Dollar coin and two 45 cent Army - 100 years of Service Postage Stamps were jointly issued by Australia Post and the Royal Australian Mint. The set commemorates t he 100th anniversary of the formation of the Australian Army. The postage stamps have been cancelled with a specially prepared ink rendition of the Army's Rising Sun badge with the wording 'First Day of Issue 15 February 2001 St. Kilda Road Melbourne Vic. 3004'.
