A wonderful poster and piece of advertising history. This poster created for Pneu Dunlop, or Dunlop Tyres was created in 1946 to promote the International tyre manufacturing brand. Founded in 1890 in Dublin, Dunlop Tyres continues to trade to this day. This beautiful and incredibly rare poster was designed by the legendary Italian poster artist Leonetto Cappiello and depicts a dark scene with a clown. The piece is in mint condition and is backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.
