The Cascade is coil spring operated for outstanding durability and low maintenance and features an externally routed cable to fit a wide variety of bikes. The external cable comes from the collar to keep things as neat as possible and it won't get in the way once the post is dropped. 150mm and 170mm options have a larger, stiffer stanchion, and also receive an extra bushing to help fight against 'wobbly post syndrome'. V3 posts have slightly different packaging than the earlier models and do not come with a remote. The post itself is identical to the previous iterations. Models stating 1x remote come with a shifter style under bar lever for use with single-ring drivetrains. Models stating 2x remote come with a remote designed to play nicely with a front shifter. Who's this item for: The Cascade is a great choice riders that don't have internal routing for a dropper post in their frame.
