A Blast Furnace, a poster by artist Clive Gardiner, issued by the Empire Marketing Board (1927-1933). The Empire Marketing Board was formed in May 1926 by the Colonial Secretary Le o Amery to promote intra-Empire trade and to persuade consumers to 'Buy Empire. It was abolished in 1933.
