LNER 4472, Flying Scotsman by LNWR(?) overbridge, Sandy, Bedfordshire. NB dynometer car behind loco. 'Flying Scotsman' hauling the Flying Scotsman service, 20th Feb. 1934. The trai n at that time took 7hours 50 minutes for the 393 miles from London to Edinburgh via the East Coast Main Line.
