Ronald Searle, Cat of a Thousand Disguises Concealing Itself as a Rug, c.1976-83 Ronald Searle (1920-2011) was born in Cambridge and trained at Cambridge College of Arts and Techno logy (now Anglia Ruskin University). He is perhaps best known for illustrating the St Trinian's and Molesworth book series, and cartoons published by the New York Times. He was also a prolific artist of satirical and humorous works, including many wonderful drawings of cats behaving in typically and not so typically feline ways. Show more
