It begins at the back neck, where increases are charted into the lace pattern before the shoulders are picked up and the front is worked. Front and back are joined at the underarm, and the body is then knitted in the round. Stitches are picked up along the armholes for the sleeves, and the neckline is finished with a folded double collar for a polished look. Hem and cuffs are completed with a tubular bind off, creating a neat, stretchy edge that flows seamlessly from the lace into the ribbing. For best results, choose a solid or slightly tonal yarn to let the stitch pattern shine.
