A Blank Composition Book for Poetry, Verses & Illustrated Writing This Poetry Composition Book is a stapled 8.3" x 11.7" portrait-format book with a repeating layout of four lined pages followed by one blank page for illustrations. It offers generous space for poems, verses, lyrics, short stories, and other written work with drawings. Originally created for Waldorf schools, the orange-cover format works especially well for poetry and language arts, but also for fairy tales, summaries, science notes with diagrams, history work, and other subjects that combine writing with illustration. With 60 total pages and a sturdy cardstock cover, it is a versatile choice for elementary students, older writers, homeschool families, and classrooms. Helpful for Teaching and Planning Some homeschool parents keep a second copy as a planning book, lesson record, or place to write alongside their child during poetry, language arts, or story work.
