It is known as 'Downoi' (little star) in Thailand, and it is obvious w hy due to it's star like leaf shape. Pogostemon helferi is an unusual and distinctive aquatic plant with a compact growth, curly leaves and a striking beautiful green colour, with good light conditions and a nutrient rich aquarium soil.
