The deepest part of the profile, located on the leeward side. Measured as depth (how “fat” the sail is) and position (how far forward or back it sits). Draft generates the power/lift of the sail. The SALT PRO keeps its profile compact, vanishing in your hands the moment you hit the wave thanks to its on/off Dacron panel. It drives hard and precise through the bottom turn, then instantly neutralizes as you hit the lip: its natural S-shaping making cutbacks easy, powerful, and forgiving.
