Description: Treatment of pain is often based on Meridian Differentiation compared to the treatment of internal disorders based on Zang-Fu Syndrome Differentiation. Meridian based Acupuncture integrates TCM microsystems, balancing methods, Acupuncture Meridian Systems and 5 element theory taken from Classical Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture, Tung and Tan Style Acupuncture. This workshop summarizes how these famous Acupuncture masters have applied these ancient Meridian systems to produce effective results in the treatment of pain. Richard Kwan's innovative style of Acupuncture teaches the importance of palpation and intention to create effective and miraculous results even with a few needles. Along with founding Simple Cures, Richard is also currently a Senior Advisor of TCM and Acupuncture and lecturing extensively at Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Academy (AIMA). As an experienced practitioner, he integrates systems of Five Elements, Alchemy, Japanese Medicine and Tung & Tan Style Acupuncture. Richard leads his practice with a minimalistic approach and lifestyle. He believes in focusing on the Acupuncture Meridian Systems and emphasizing the spirit cultivation through Qigong, the Harmony of Seven Emotions, and the Five Elements.
