The Point Two ProAir Jacket is an equestrian air vest used by leisure and professional riders all over the world. This lightweight jacket inflates within one-tenth of a second to protect the rider in the event of a fall. The ProAir Vest works in three ways whilst inflated: distributes pressure; absorbs shocks; and supports the spinal column. When the air vest is inflated support is provided for the collar of the neck and trunk of the spine which reduces the risk of over bending the spinal column. Point Two Air Jackets are inflated by a CO2 canister, stored on the front of the jacket that's activated by the release of a lanyard attached to the jacket and clipped on to the saddle. The air vest stays fully inflated for approximately 15-20 seconds and then slowly deflates over the next two to three minutes. The safest way to wear your Point Two jacket is in conjunction with a conventional body protector, when competing in the UK the ProAir Jacket must be used with a BETA approved Level 3 body protector. The straps on this air jacket are adjustable on both sides for a customizable fit and every jacket has a foam pad behind the trigger and on the opposite side for extra coverage.
