Congratulations! Getting fitted for your first pair of pointe shoes is such an exciting milestone, and we're thrilled to be a part of it. Our team is here to celebrate with you and guide you through every step of the process. Pointe shoe fittings are free with the purchase of a pair of pointe shoes. If you decide not to purchase a pair of pointe shoes with us during your appointment, a $40 fitting fee will be applied at checkout. 🩰 Preparing for Your Pointe Shoe Fitting Appointment Trim your toenails short to prevent discomfort during the fitting. Wear a leotard so the fitter can clearly see leg and foot alignment. Wear convertible tights so to allow you to go barefoot as needed during the fitting. Cover any blisters or sores with bandages to keep them protected. Bring any notes or requirements from your ballet teacher, especially regarding preferred brands/styles Pack your patience—first-time fittings can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour. Bring your camera or phone to capture this exciting milestone! FAQs: What pointe shoe brands do you carry? We currently carry Freed, Chacott, R-Class, So Danca and Wear Moi. What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?We kindly request that you provide 24-48 hours notice so that we may be able to open your appointment slot up to another dancers. You may cancel/reschedule through the link provided in your appointment email, or by calling the store at (904) 660-2142. What if I decide not to buy pointe shoes during the appointment?Pointe shoe fittings are a detailed and time-intensive process to ensure the best fit and support. A $40 fitting fee will be charged if you choose not to purchase your pointe shoes during the fitting. This fee is waived with the purchase of a pair of pointe shoes.
