One of the first enamel pieces I did was a green tree frog. I really loved it so I decided to make a poison dart frog that would honor and support the Cincinnati Zoo. The dial is h andcrafted with .999 Fine Silver using traditional cloisonné techniques. The wires which outline the cells for the enamel are hand bent and attached to the dial. Each cell is filled with vitreous (grand feu) enamel from Japan and fired multiple times in the kiln at about 1400 degrees Fahrenheit. The watch case is made in Stainless Steel by the Cincinnati Watch Company. The watch features a Swiss Made Automatic Movement. Dial Artist: Jordan P. Ficklin Show more
