Polaskia chichipe is notable for its distinct ribs which have a wavy, scalloped edge pattern, giving the plant a sharp, defined profile. In nature, it is a tree-like cactus that forms a short, thick trunk before branching out. The spines are typically greyish, and the plant has a structural, architectural quality that looks excellent against a plain wall. This cactus needs full sun to partial shade to thrive. Water moderately during the growing season, always letting the soil dry out significantly between applications. Use a standard cactus mix with added perlite or grit for drainage to ensure the roots remain healthy and oxygenated. Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Decorative pot not included, the plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
