German electronic producer, Stefan Betke aka Pole was a key player in establishing the electronic 'micro glitch' sub-genre in the early 2000s with three highly influential LPs - 'P ole 1', 'Pole 2' and 'Pole 3'. He has continued to release new works every few years, and his 2020 release, Fading, was influenced by experiencing a family member gradually succumb to the degeneration caused by dementia.
