Eligibility & Requirements Practice Requirements: Please remove any existing nail extensions and gel polish before attending, as participants will practice on each other or on yourselves during the course. Our lamps are specifically designed to emit light within the 450-495 nanometre range, as tested by Pure Nails on Halo products. This range ensures proper curing of the gel polish, creating a strong bond with the natural nail. Using a different brand’s lamp may affect the effectiveness of the curing process, leading to incomplete curing and a weaker bond. If the product is not fully cured, it can remain soft, trapping moisture and bacteria, which increases the risk of infection.
