The Proxxon suede polishing discs are used with polishing compound for ultra-fine high-gloss finishing on metal, non-ferrous metals, cerami cs, porcelain, plastics, and lacquered woods. Suede is the softest of the three Proxxon polishing disc materials — making it the ideal final buffing step after felt and cotton passes, where its gentle action removes the last micro-scratches and brings surfaces to a mirror-like gloss without risk of re-scratching. The 2.35mm (3/32") shank fits the standard Micromot collet system. Two discs per pack. Suede discs (No. 28298) — this disc — final pass: Softest construction. Removes the last micro-scratches and brings the surface to a mirror-like high-gloss finish.
