The most common use case for the brass iron is for leather moulding. Brass is a good conductor of heat, and a huge chunk of it will retain heat for a substantial amount of time. I personally use it for melting wax into the thread and burnishing it after. We partnered with a few talented machinist in 2021 to design these Electric Creaser tips, tuning the groove profile to deliver precisely what we are looking for, while taking heavy inspiration from Regad.
