These polishing wheels mount on a bench grinder / buffing machine and when combined with the provided compounds, they produce a mirror shine. They are solid in form but melt onto your polishing wheel as it's spinning. Flange Specs Installing a flange on either side of your wheel clamps the wheel securely to the shaft. The drilled flange style features drilled holes to provide a better grip on the wheel and help keep the wheel cool. 2" - 2 1/4" overall diameter (depending on buffer shaft size) 1/3" wide Made from CNC machined aluminum for a trick look and great durability Spacer Specs These spacers push the wheel towards the end of the buffing machine's shaft, creating more space between the wheel and the machine. 1/2" width CNC machined from aluminum for a perfect fit Please refer to the buffing chart below for info on what wheels work best for your application. Keep in mind, if you are looking to polish to a full mirror finish, you will need to do all 3 stages of polishing wheels. You cannot go right to the final step and expect a full mirror shine. Also, if your part has existing scratches or a sand cast finish they will need to smoothed out with flap wheels. The flap wheel step can be skipped if your part does not have deep scratches or casting texture.
