Nearly 300 years ago, the Swedish-born company grew deep in the forests in Småland, making fine utility glassware for the first 150 years. Bottles, glassware, window panes, chandeliers and other useful items were among the wares sold to merchants in Stockholm and Karlskrona. The company eventually began to employ its own designers, including Gunnar G. Son Wennerberg, who joined the company in 1898. Many well-known artists have worked there since then, such as Sven X-et Ericsson and Ewald Dahlskog.
