Compilation LP — Early Singles & EPs This compilation gathers nine of Polvo's earliest tracks: the first seven from the Can I Ride double 7-inch EP (1990) and the final two from th e "Vibracobra" b/w "The Drill" 7-inch (1991). A founding sound of the Chapel Hill, North Carolina underground, Polvo blended Sonic Youth's weird tunings, SST-era hardcore and proto-indie rock, and R.E.M.'s hazy jangle into a singular, exploratory take on guitar rock.
