A wonderful wildflower, native to the eastern US, with unbranched, upright stems, handsome leaves, and in spring, the great treat -- white flowers dangling down from the arching st ems. Spreads by rhizomes to form clusters. To 1-3 ft tall in clumps to 3 ft wide in part shade to full shade with summer water for best appearance.
