It combines calcium acetate, magnesium acetate, and hydroxide salts to support the major elements consumed by corals, clams, and other reef-building organisms. Acetate ions are metabolized by bacteria into biologically available biocarbonate, while hydroxide salts provide additional buffering support for reef aquariums. Test water parameters regularly and adjust dosing based on aquarium consumption. Avoid direct contact with corals when dosing, and dose into an area with good water movement. Directions for Use Before first use, fill the bottle to the neck with reverse osmosis water and shake well. Dose 1 to 4 capfuls, or 5 to 20 mL, per 50 gallons of total aquarium volume daily in a high-flow area away from direct coral contact. Shake well before each use.
