Oriented or tensilised polypropylene is the most widely used and versatile form of strapping as it is compatible with both automatic and manual systems. Polypropylene strapping is also known as plastic strapping and is a cheaper alernative to Polyester Strapping and Steel Strapping whilst also being adequate for most packaging uses, such as light and medium duty applications. Hand Strapping (Custom Printed also available) is for use with our Strapping Tools and Seals. We also offer Machine Strapping (Custom Printed also available) for use with our Strapping Machines. Compressible metal seals are used for manual strapping, but Friction Weld sealing is used for portable tension sealers and automatic systems as it is faster and cheaper.
