The colors may not always be uniform, the glazes may have small marks and irregularities, metal coatings are not perfectly smooth and patina-free. The metal coatings are always hand painted, which is why duller patches from the brush are almost always somewhere in the work visible. In my works, I deliberately play with the unevenness and flaws of the glazes and emphasize the surfaces they create.
