This beautifully antiqued Strad model was handcrafted in Bulgaria, then re-graduated, and finished in the USA. During the re-graduation process, the plates and bass bar are carved to a targeted thickness that complement each other; achieving a clear, even and powerful sound. This violin wants to be played! It is very responsive to the player's dynamics. Hand-varnished with a high-quality oil varnish in the Italian style, it sports a warm honey color in most light. This violin also has some antiquing to go along with its worn-in feel. It is very comfortable to play. The setup includes ebony fittings and Obligato strings.
