C. 1880, France. Measurements: 48.5"W x 40"H x 15"D. Firebox Opening, 32"W x 33"H. This mantel was made at the end of the 19th century and brought from a dealer to New Orleans, LA. The design is in the distinct pompadour style, recognizable with a central medallion and executed in white carrara marble. The pilaster legs show a console shape topped with volutes on either side. A gentle scallop shelf offers generous depth and proportion. Ethanol insert sold separately. Show more
