The PondXpert Waterfall Header Filter is a combined waterfall outlet and pond filter designed to create a waterfall display while filtering pond water as it passes through the unit. Water enters at the rear of the reservoir, flows up through the filter media, and exits over the 400mm wide waterfall lip. It can be installed in the ground as part of a waterfall build or positioned free standing at the edge of the pond, depending on the layout of the pond and waterfall area. The water then flows over the blade-style lip, helping to return filtered water to the pond as part of a waterfall feature. The top grid includes two moulded planting pots that can be planted with marginal plants to help soften the appearance of the unit. These pots have pre-drilled holes, allowing water to pass through into the planting area. The unit is supplied with Japanese matting and two bags of media. The media is positioned in the bottom of the reservoir to help support the biological filtration of pond water.
