This product should be added at least once a week as part of your regular maintenance program. It is best to add 12 hours after your weekly shock treatment or after treating for algae as it aids in reducing the organics in the pool water. Add 1 ounce of the product per 5,000 gallons of pool water directly to pool water, preferably directly above one of the return outlets. Pour the solution of this product into the pool – distribute around the perimeter. For improved filter efficiency pour part of the solution directly into the skimmer. Run the pump/filter for 8 hours. *NOTE: If the pool water is extremely turbid (heavy usage, newly filled pool, warm weather start up etc.) a dose of 2 ounces per 5,000 gallons can be added to the pool.
