Limited Edition Fine Art print of the Poolbeg. Choose from two sizes, framed or unframed. Both print sizes are limited to a run of 50 and come with a certificate of authenticity. T his Plein air painting was done on site on the South Great Wall in Dublin city. The Poolbeg chimneys belong to the now closed power station which in its day powered most of Dublin city. The chimneys and structure and are now listed and protected and are more commonly known as the pigeon house to Dubliners. This is a really wonderful area for painting and continues to be an area that I come back to due to the history and inspiration it gives me. These chimneys are incredibly important landmarks of the city and can be seen from most of the city but also from many of the mountain treks that surround Dublin.
