Poolboy's infectious pop-influenced garage punk antics almost ended in tragedy. Two years after a blazing start on the central Oklahoma music scene, vocalist/guitarist, Michael Lov eland, developed cancer. Surrounded by the love and support of friends, Loveland beat the disease into remission. ""Spending that time fighting for my life, I learned what is important to me.""
