Hand built vase by Los Angeles ceramic artist Sophie Maarek Approximately 7"x10" Sofi was born and raised in France and comes from a multi-cultural family, she has been living in L os Angeles for 20 years. Her work is best described as a dance between gravity and clay. Sofi creates textured, sculptured vessels inspired by her deep interest in African cultures and nature.
