During transit, leaf injury, bending, tearing, or partial leaf loss is common and typically does not reflect poor health; it is an inherent risk of transporting foliage-bearing plants. Some roots may also experience temporary die-back due to shipping stress. This is normal and expected given the biology of bananas and seasonal shipping conditions. The plants are shipped bare-root or in tissue culture packets unless otherwise specified. Post-Arrival Growth Response: While leaves may arrive damaged or partially desiccated, healthy banana plants generally respond by producing new emerging leaves once acclimated to appropriate conditions (light, moisture, and temperature).
