Back to my found things, the poppy seed head has been a favourite of mine for many years. When fresh they have this wonderful green and lilac hue and when dried they go to this bea utiful soft golden colour with speckles and little areas of bloom. This is the first part of a three-part composition, stretching your skills to develop a still life botanical painting.
