Back to my found things, the poppyseed head has been a favourite of mine for many years. When fresh they have this wonderful green and lilac hue and when dried they go to this beau tiful soft golden colour with speckles and little areas of bloom. This is the first part of a three-part composition, stretching your skills to develop a still life botanical painting.
