Features Sold Individually Tungsten Carbide-Tipped, Multi-Purpose Masonry/Tile Drill Bit 3X Longer Life & 2X Faster than standard masonry/tile bits Drills 10+ holes per bit (based on PEI Class 5 porcelain tile with 1/4in Cyclone) Faster Drilling Times (average 30 sec/hole) Specifically designed for porcelain, masonry, and harder substrates Clean precise holes Quick & easy startup, no wandering Recommended drilling speed of 600 rpm (hammer drills and handheld drills only) Recommended For Porcelain Tile Ceramic Tile Marble Granite Concrete Block Brick Quartz Crystallized Glass Applications Frameless Shower Doors Masonry Bathroom Partitions Bathroom Accessories Tiles Instructions (for maximum durability) 1: DIP IN WATER before drilling and about every 5 seconds during drilling (more often when going through harder materials). We find dipping in water is more effective at cooling the Porcelain bits than spraying. 2: FIRM PRESSURE: Let the bit do the work - Do not apply excessive pressure. Place the drill bit on the specified mark, apply pressure, listen for a slight CRUNCH, and start your drilling process. Drill straight into the hole and do not wiggle drill. 3: USE PROPER DRILLING SPEED: Cyclone: 600 rpm and slowed down while breaking through the hole. 4: The Cyclone can be used in a Handheld or Hammer Drill. 5: Do not use dull or damaged bit. 6: Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during use and when handling bit.
