This is really important if you have acne, blackheads or you’re prone to clogged pores as choosing ingredients that are noncomedogenic means that you’re less likely to experience blocked pores. You might also see products described as “oil free”. All oils used in skincare have a comedogenic rating. This rating shows how much the oil is likely to ‘block’ pores or become occlusive to pores. We prefer to describe this rating as 'how rich the oil is' rather than 'likely to block pores' as this can sound a bit scary.
