La Soufflerie mouth-blows the Porta Candele Piccolo in Paris, by hand, one piece at a time. The framboise - a soft, dusty raspberry that shifts toward rose in low light - is the co lour the molten glass takes on as it is gathered, shaped, and cooled. The Piccolo is the smallest piece in the series: sized for a tealight or a single short stem, low enough to live on a bedside or a corner of the table. Set it beside the Porta Candele and Porta Candele With Handle, and the three sit together as a small still life. No two are the same.
