The meter is a rugged, portable, waterproof dissolved oxygen (DO) meter designed to provide reliable measurements under harsh environmental conditions. The meter features manual ca libration and an auto-off function. The unit is supplied complete with polarographic probe, PTFE membrane caps, electrolyte fill solution, protective shield, and rugged carrying case. Easily Replaceable Membrane Caps One or Two Point Calibration Waterproof Polarographic Measuring System - The meter and probe use polarographic sensor technology based on the Ross and Clark polarographic measurement method. The probe is comprised of a platinum cathode and silver anode in an electrolyte solution held in place over the surfaces of the electrodes by a polymer membrane.
