Have you recently qualified as a Make-up Artist or are you currently working within the industry as a professional Make-up Artist and simply need to ‘test’ to update your portfolio? If so, this portfolio shoot day is the perfect opportunity for you! We have teamed up with top Fashion and Beauty Photographer Garazi to help boost your Make-up Career, and employability within the industry and to kick-start or update a high-calibre portfolio. What we offer: Use of our Studios and Tutor guidance Professional Model Leading Fashion & Beauty Photographer Two re-touched images of your work (option to purchase more should you wish) Hairstylist Shoot Accessories including classic Bridal Dresses How it works: In the weeks leading up to the shoot, we will collaborate with you to review a moodboard and plan your hair and makeup, and select your model. We want you to direct your own shoot and create an image for your portfolio that reflects you as an artist. You may choose a Bridal shoot. If so we will liaise with our partners to dress your model. Or you may want to opt for a clean skin for that more commercial clean beauty shot, or something technical to demonstrate your creative artistry. The photoshoot will take place in our Central Birmingham Studios, where you will have 2 hours to create a look on your professional model. Your model will have their hair styled by our Session Stylist. However, if you are already a trained hair stylist, you can ask to incorporate your own styles as part of the shoot day experience. Garazi will then capture a wide selection of images of your look while you are on set to assist with makeup touch-ups and enjoy the shoot. Once your first look has been photographed, you will then move onto your next model. The photographer uses different backdrops throughout the day to achieve variation and create different moods. After the shoot, Garazi will send you thumbnails of ALL shots taken of the model during your shoot, including the two complimentary retouched shots. As a well-established, sought-after Fashion and Beauty photographer, Garazi utilises her expertise and trained eye to assist in making this selection for you. She will then bookmark the shots she believes work best in a portfolio. Should you wish to make your own selection of your favourite shots, you are free to do so. Additional, professionally retouched images can be purchased directly from Garazi. *Please note that all Masterclasses and Shoot Day's are non-refundable.
