Original Painting Porthcothan Bay is a north west-facing cove backed by grassy dunes that works from low to mid tide, breaking on sand banks producing lefts and rights. It is a qui et cove popular with families and the closest beach to my house. I love to SUP there when the sun is just about to sink behind the horizon. Here it is at high tide...
