The Poseidon Head Necklace is a sterling silver pendant carrying the head of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, known in Roman mythology as Neptune. His hair and beard are cut str and by strand so they fall like water around a stern face, and a crown sits on his head. The crown is what separates this Poseidon from the usual one: he is shown as a reigning king of his own realm rather than as a storm figure with a trident in hand. Poseidon stands for the sea's power and for authority over what cannot be tamed, worn as a symbol rather than as a religious piece. Show more
