6th plate ambrotype, behind mat and cover glass in a leather daguerreotype case. Some age-related issues like spotting and some darkening.. there is a spot on her chest that was in the image, however.. it's either something like a blister, perhaps a locket.. not sure, but it seems like the shape is a bit irregular, so I'd guess fever blister or burn mark. ** Listing pic 1 is a scan, pic 2 is a cell phone pic with no flash, pic 3 is a cell phone pic with flash. In my normal overhead lighting, to me this image looks closest to pic 2. Show more
